   There are definitely unannounced cameos by Christopher Lee, Albert Finney, Derek Jacobi…and I think they have changed the voice actor of Iorek to Ian McKellen. It’s definitely his voice saying “I will serve you until you have victory in your campaign” to Lyra in the new trailer. I don’t think they’d get ol’ Sir Ian in just to voice a trailer, but get someone else to do the whole movie! It’s almost definitely gonna be him voicing Iorek, unless the voice actor just happens to sound a LOT like him. But I doubt that very much.

   Look great! I can’t wait!

   I thought it sounded like Ian McKellen as well. I wish I knew, dang it!!! GAH!!!
   Anyway, cast looks great for the movie! Hope it’s at least as good as the book. The book will of course be better, just cuz books are always better than the movie, but from what I saw in the trailer it’s gonna be awsome!! Oooo, I can’t WAIT!!!

    www.imbd.com lists Ian Mckellen as the official actor to voice Iorek. it’s even listed in Sir Ian’s Filmography. I’ve read the whole trilogy bout 3 times now, fantastic story, fantastic characters, and with a fantastic cast/production crew at the helm with lots of big names this should be something quite super!

    In IMDb, Christopher Lee appears as “Lord Boreal”, but in the trailer is another whose daimonion is a snake… Maybe some data in that page is a rumour only, but the cast that one can see in the trailer is great.

    I thought Iorek sounded more like Ian McKellan than Christopher Lee, also backed by the fact that I could have SWORN I saw Christopher Lee make a very quick cameo earlier in the trailer.

    I saw the movie today and loved it–sat through the credits so I could identify as much as the cast as possible but do find it irritating that this web site only features 4 of the actors under the cast section. I would really like to have a full cast listing and read about some of the other players and their characters. All these wonderful actors deserve credit. I do hope a sequel will follow.
