Obstacles of every shape and size cover the world of Frozen North. To navigate safely through these icy locales, Lyra uses her shape-shifting Daemon companion (Pantalaimon) as a Sloth to swing across chasms and reach distant ledges. There’s little need for ropes and pulleys here. Riding on her shoulders, the Sloth reaches out with its arms to grab hold of ledges, outcroppings and a myriad other surfaces to help Lyra continue in her journey unharmed. Who says sloths only sit in trees and eat all day?
