New Line Cinema will exhibit select scenes from The Golden Compass to press and distributors at the 60th Cannes Film Festival.

Variety reports both Daniel Craig and director Chris Weitz will headline the event. Nicole Kidman will be filming in Australia and unable to attend.

The Cannes Film Festival runs May 16 - 27 .
